The Ancient City, also called Muang Boran, is one of the largest open-air museums in the world, covering more than 300 acres just outside Bangkok. Its grounds hold replicas and original pieces of landmarks from every region of Thailand, including palaces, temples and sculptures, laid out roughly by geography. Founded in 1963 by Lek Viriyaphant and opened in 1972, it also has Talad Bok, a traditional floating market lined with classic Thai houses.
This combo adds the Erawan Museum, set across several floors including space inside its giant elephant statue. You can add a Thai buffet lunch or dinner to your ticket. Transport between the two sites is not included, and optional private transfers are available from your hotel.
