FITO Museum covers the history, philosophy and practice of Vietnamese traditional medicine in a setting inspired by traditional Vietnamese architecture. It is the country’s first private museum on the subject, holding thousands of artifacts dating from the 1st to the 19th century and nearly 1,000 hand-drawn paintings of medicinal plants.
Your ticket includes a guided tour in English, where you can see ancient tools for preparing herbal medicine, models of traditional pharmacies and the Imperial Medical Institute, and learn about folk healing methods.
